This site sets no cookies of its own

There are no accounts, no preferences to remember and no tracking, so nothing is stored in your browser by the site itself. Nothing you do here follows you anywhere.

One cookie you may see anyway

The site is served through Cloudflare, which protects it from bots and attacks. Cloudflare may set a cookie named __cf_bm to tell a real reader from a bot. It lasts about half an hour, carries no identity and is not used to profile or advertise to anyone. It exists so the site stays up, which is why it is there whether or not you agree to anything.

If Cloudflare ever has to challenge your connection you may also briefly get cf_clearance, which only records that the challenge was passed.

The reader count does not use cookies either

Page views are counted with Cloudflare Web Analytics. It is cookieless by design: it stores nothing in your browser, sets no identifier and does not fingerprint your device, so it cannot tell that two visits came from the same person. The privacy page says exactly what it does record.

Nothing else

No advertising and no third party scripts. Fonts and item icons are served from this site rather than from anyone else, so there is nothing else to store and nobody else watching you read.

Should that ever change, this page changes first and a consent banner goes up before anything is stored.
